Karina, a 3rd generation Florida native, joined Aging Care Advocates in April 2024 as our Office Manager. In her role, Karina. serves as the point person between our Aging Life Care Managers, our clients, their families, and business partners in the community. When a prospective family is needing assistance with their loved one, Karina steps in to discover what physical, emotional, medical, and financial needs exist, then works closely with our owner Genevieve to best match one of our Aging Life Care Managers to the unique needs for their situation.
Prior to Aging Care Advocates, Karina worked in National & International banking for 3 of the top 5 global banks in the world. Within her 10 years in the banking and finance industry, Karina worked as a Senior Credit Officer & Senior Risk Officer, managing an offshore department in Asia. Karina is well versed in various cultures of the world due to her work in several countries such as England, Ireland, Mexico, Brazil and Russia, to name a few.
Karina has a passionate love for her community and has been serving in her community for over 15 years. Karina enjoys volunteering between Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa, FL, Brandon Church of God, and Gift of Hope, all of which are Greater Brandon Charities.
Karina received several accolades and a Bachelor’s in Investment Banking & Risk Management from CITI Global Internal University. Karina worked in the Regulatory Legal Analytic Unit for CITI, working directly with in-house legal teams on a global scale.
Karina is thrilled to join the Aging Care Advocates Team! She looks forward to creating and maintaining lasting relationships with our valued clients and their families.
